The ASI 1003 waste receptacle offers a convenient way to accept waste for disposal in your commercial restrooms without having to mount a wall-hanging receptacle or purchase a freestanding trashcan. The unit is installed right into the opening of the counter tops in your sink area and can be used with counters that are 1/2 of an inch to 4 inches in thickness. The receptacle requires a rough opening that measures 8-3/4 inches by 12-1/2 inches. The unit features an access door made from type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel. The door pivots with downward pressure to accept trash. Included with the waste receptacle is a waste container that is capable of holding up to 28 liters of waste. This container is fashioned from type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel and is corrosion resistant. This waste container is separate from the access door and is positioned beneath the counter top unit for catching trash.
