St. Louis de Montfort, in True Devotion to Mary, has left us an infinitely valuable treatise on how to be perfectly one with Jesus through Mary. In addition, he teaches us how to properly consecrate oneself to Jesus through Mary. In the many works I have encountered that give a method on doing so (both modern and traditional), none of them properly and completely follow the saints instructions, and the readings containing Scripture as part of the preparation, are given without traditional commentary. The words of Our Lord are so rich and deep, and require scholarly yet simple commentary for the devout Catholic soul (see Pope Leo XIII, Providentissimus Deus). Therefore, I have included proper commentary along with readings that are in accordance with St. Louis' instructions, which are from the highest spiritual authorities.
