It is formulated for elevations below 7000 feet in northern California, western Oregon and western Washington. The mix contains 60% annuals and 40% perennials for a long-lasting color display. The species in this mix include: Columbine, Cornflower, Siberian Wallflower, Shasta Daisy, Dwarf Godetia, Clarkia, Chinese Houses, Lance-leaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Larkspur, Sweet William, California Poppy, Blanketflower, Annual Baby’s Breath, Candytuft, Spurred Snapdragon, Blue Flax, Scarlet Flax, Russell Lupine, Baby Blue Eyes, Globe Gilia, Corn Poppy, Black-eyed Susan, and Catchfly. Prepare a site by removing weeds and loosening soil. Seed can be broadcast and raked into the soil, covering 2 – 3 times their thickness, or seed can be drilled to a maximum of ¼ inch. This Northwest mix should be planted in the spring once soil temperature warm to 55F. Seed should stay moist by either rainfall or irrigation until germination occurs.
