This RKI M-Series Chest has an offset lid for mounting flush against the front wall of the bed. The hull and lid of the toolbox are made of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum with a .090 smooth aluminum lid stiffener. The bottom of the box is made of .125 smooth aluminum. All welds are full arch welds. It has two 4" aluminum butt hinges with 1/4" hinge pins welded to the box and lid. It features full-size stainless steel paddle latch, a gas pressure shock, and ribbed d-bulb seals. Mounting hardware included for floor mounting.
